Contemporary Landscapes

From 26th May - 5th June 2021 Fronteer Gallery plays host to 'Contemporary Landscapes', a group exhibition which started out as an open-call opportunity; inviting artists to respond to the idea of 'landscapes' in new, contemporary and unexpected ways. The result is a diverse exhibition of varying styles, disciplines and processes from over 30 artists from around the UK.

As ever, an open call opportunity throws up unexpected responses to a theme, as well as a variation of styles and disciplines from artists of all backgrounds. As such, this exhibition comprises of contemporary painting, collage, textiles, photography, drawing and printmaking, and explores political, economic and environmental 'landscapes' as well as more established responses to the theme. The result is a high-quality, multi-faceted exhibition, with something for everyone.

You can catch 'Contemporary Landscapes' until Saturday 5th June. With special thanks to the artists involved.

This was an interesting and refreshing read. I liked how the author turned simple observations into meaningful insights that are easy to connect with. It shows how reflection can support both personal and academic learning. As someone studying finance-related subjects, I often explore content like this for inspiration. During busy academic periods, many students also search for help with finance assignment when they need extra guidance. Posts like this provide a great balance between relaxation and learning, making them very enjoyable.
