Drawing From Nature Workshop

Join artist Nic Gear and explore ways of seeing & using materials, inspired by nature. 

 

This workshop is for everyone. For those who'd like to try out mark making and drawing for the first time to artists who would appreciate fresh ways of approaching their practice.

 

Bring along any sketch pads/paper and materials you usually have for drawing and if you don't have these things don't worry as Nic will bring along a selection of materials. Also bring along 2 or 3 natural objects - things from nature that grab your attention to draw from during the session.

During the workshop there will be space to share and comment positively on each others work, so to get the most from the session be prepared to encourage one another.

​

At the end of the workshop Nic will put up the best of everyone's work for a pop up exhibition to celebrate everyone's talents.
